India Harvest Report, January 2006, Edgerly’s TeamA special thank you to all who with your prayers and support helped to make this 3 village evangelistic series in India a reality! We hope these pictures and church progress reports will give you a taste of the joy of the harvest!
Brahmana Koduru What a joy it was to witness 319 precious souls give their hearts to Christ in baptism! Now that this congregation has taken a stand for Jesus, they eagerly await their new church building. At the end of the evangelistic meetings one newly baptized woman came and gave Ruebón a 10 Rupee bill for their new church building In U.S. dollars 10 Rupee is worth close to 25 cents but in India it is worth a quarter day's pay!
Aluru This new congregation of 42 is excited about the prospects of their new church building being built in their village. At the present time they meet under a tent! Please pray for this beautiful family as they await their new church home.
Gudipadu Many from Gudipadu would make an hour drive in the back of a large truck each night just to attend the evangelistic meetings held in Koduru. Forty-seven lovely, dedicated people in this small village left their former beliefs to follow after Jesus through baptism. How exciting it will be for our new brothers and sisters to have a church to worship in!
